The IPTV World EXPO VoIP 2008 is the only IPTV specialized exposition in Korea held on October 10th to 17th, 2008 in COEX for the fourth time, with 80 participating companies and about 20 thousand visitors.
In this Expo, Microinfinity Co., Ltd. presented the Smart Remote Control and the Smart Mouse with built-in CruizCore MSID.
The Smart Remote Control is a device that addresses the drawbacks of existing IPTV remote controllers. It can conveniently manage the various IPTV menus and GUIs with a laser-pointer-like handling method. This device was very popular in the Exposition.
The Smart Mouse, introduced in this exposition for the first time, has multiple uses, it can be used as a regular mouse on a desk, it can function as an air-mouse for presentations, or can be used as a motion detecting game controller similar to the Nintendo Wii. It has a slim design making it very handy and portable. It captured considerable amount of attention among the young age group.
